The Groundstation

includes

• two 10,4° TFT color displays
• an embedded PC reporting the communication status of two redundant SHF receivers. The composite Video Signal is forwarded to the second TFT display.
• Laptop running WinXP / W2K
• Visualization software (Pilot Panel):

·  a dedicated microprocessor for tracking antenna calculations

·  a commercial Remote Control Unit
All modes of the autopilot (PIC/CIC) are set by this unit. The RF output is increased by an additional RF Power Amplifier.

The complete groundstation is powered at 12V/10A or 110VAC - 230VAC

and backed by battery.
