The  X-SIGHT Airframe 

Is a robust and reliable aerial platform with a reasonable payload capacity of 5kg at cruise speed of ~125km/h.

We use Pro/Engineer for the 3D mechanical design, resulting to a complete database for precise integration of various payload options.

       

The arerodynamical design is suited for low-cost MEMS inertial measurement units which helps even inexpensive turn rate based attitude controllers to control the airframe more easily. Gain and limiter control loop adjustment is not as sensitive as found on many other UAV's in the 10-25kg class thanks to the bigger tolerances of the aeromechanical coefficients of the airframe.

CONVERSIONS

The X-SIGHT UAV is easily convertable to highly manoeuvrable direct aerial target drone by adding

· corner reflectors and/or luneberg lenses for RCS

· flares for infrared augmentation

· smoke pods for visual augmentation.

FURTHER OPTIONS

Parachute recovery system for high expensive payloads including catapult launcher.
