Please note:

Flying out of visual sight is only possible if the airspace is entirely blocked from airtraffic. For pre-programmed missions in visual sight the minimum distance of flight tracks to congested areas is dependend on the restrictions given by individual countries laws.       E.g. in Germany: min 1.5km is a must.

For pre-programmed missions out of visual sight  a restricted safety zone like firing range is imperative.

For pre-programmed missions in between line of sight the maximum allowed distance is equal to the distance the operator can handle an UAV in full manual mode. In that case the operators eye needs to be unassisted, e.g. by binoculars or FPV video equipment.
